Perspective & Approach
My goal is to create a clinical environment where patients feel safe discussing complex, sensitive, or stigmatized topics without fear of dismissal or judgment.
While labels aren't for everyone, I recognize that they can sometimes help us better understand ourselves, communicate our experiences, and find community.
Perspectives that shape my approach to care:
-
Neurodivergent
-
LGBTQ+
-
Chronically ill/disabled (lifelong patient myself!)
-
Trauma-informed
-
Inclusive of diverse relationship structures and identities

Beyond Medicine:
I believe healthcare works best when patients feel respected, informed, and genuinely understood. My approach to medicine is shaped not only by my clinical training, but also by a lifelong interest in creativity, communication, and the ways identity and lived experience influence health.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy painting, museums, coffee shops, gaming culture, crafting, city wandering, and spending time near the ocean whenever possible. I also provided the vocals for the theme song of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations back in 2011, which remains one of the more unexpected parts of my life.
I value curiosity, thoughtful communication, and creating spaces where people feel comfortable asking questions and participating actively in their care.

I believe excellent primary care blends clinical rigor with genuine human connection. My approach emphasizes thoughtful prevention, clear and practical communication, and shared decision‑making grounded in evidence. I strive to create a space where patients feel seen, respected, and at ease — especially those who have felt anxious, unheard, or overwhelmed in medical settings. Whether navigating complex chronic illness, preventive care, or sensitive conversations, my goal is to walk alongside my patients as a steady, reliable partner in their health. The reflections below are shared by patients about their experience in my care.
